Hi Meile! Wow, nice photos! I know Andy said to comment on any photos that might need touching up, but I think it’s always nice to get some positive feedback, too. Some of my favorite photos in your portfolio are your first in the light assignment (I love! the sliver of light by the door mixed with the pattern on the wall) and your last photo in the abstraction assignment. Big fan of patterns! As far as if any could be touched up, I think you might be able to add a different crop to your second focus photo to make it more visually interesting. At the moment, it kind of feels like something I’d find scrolling through Pinterest, which isn’t bad, I just think it could use a little pizazz. I also think you might be able to tone the exposure a little down on the last photo of the focus assignment, but now I’m just getting nit-picky. Nice work!
Hi! You have an amazing set of images. I have always liked your photos and I think you have done really well for all of these assignments. I especially like your images for light and abstractions - they're simple, but aesthetic. Similar to the above comments, I think your second photo for the focus assignment is not as strong as the rest of your images. Like, when looking at your portfolio, it does not fit. Subject wise, it is too safe especially when compared to the rest. I like the photograph, but I do not think the subject is that strong. I would choose another subject, get close enough that it can still focus, and create a contrast between the subject and the background. Other than that, I love your portfolio!
