  1. Hi Laura! Nice work on this portfolio! Some of the photos I particularly enjoy are your third photo for the abstractions assignment (it feels kind of like we’re in the Matrix), the second photo for portraits, and your approach to your first photo for the focus assignment. If I were to touch up any of your photos, I’m conflicted about your third photo for time & movement. I’m struggling between the idea that I wish the red popped more (i.e. high saturation) or if it would be more intriguing to up the exposure and make the photo black and white. I’d just play around with it a little (if you want to, of course) and see where that gets you. I might also mess around with the fourth photo for the same assignment. All in all, I think this is a strong portfolio. Nice work!

  2. Hey Laura! Great work in your final portfolio and throughout this semester. I really like your light images, I thought it was impressive that you didn't make any of the photos black and white. At the same time, I like how all of your abstract images were black and white and you kept that uniform, city vibe throughout the series. I think that the second images is less abstract, but still an awesome shot of the city! You definitely have a great grasp of time and movement. I think your exposure as a metaphor series is your strongest, with your Focus series close behind. Of those series, I think that your first exposure image is the weakest. The only other image I would replace would be the skateboarding time and movement image. Other than that you have really great work throughout the semester! Great job!
