I like the first pictures! It's really cool! However, the second one might need some work as it doesn't seem to be in the realm of shallow depth. The third one lacks craft and might need a bit of work as the image itself isn't really out focus. The first and third picture for completely out of focus categorize also need a bit of work as they are not that out of focus (also maybe improve the craft of the pictures a bit!).
Hi Julia, I love some of the textures you were able to capture in these photos. Particularly the second out of focus picture. I would say that it is more of a shallow depth of field picture, however. For your third shallow depth of field picture, I might try the shot with a lower exposure. I just feel like the overexposure doesn't add anything to the image. In your first three images overall, it might be nice to see a little more contrast. Overall nice job capturing everyday subjects at a more interesting angle.
