Hi Zoe! My two favorite photos of yours have to be the first and the last. I particularly like the first because it kind of makes you want to lean in and quint to see what the pathway leads to. I think that’s great. I like your last photo because when you first look at it, your eye is drawn to the leaf with the water droplets on it but then it bounces to the leaf in the foreground and then bounces back. I think this is a nice effect. As for the two middle photos, they’re just not really doing it for me. The Dickinson arch is blurry, but it doesn’t feel like it’s intentionally out of focus and the second to last photo just isn’t as successful as the first in this series. All in all, I’d keep the first and last and ditch the two in the middle.
Hi Zoe. My favorite of your photos is by far the first one. I really like how the sidewalk almost feels like a tunnel because of the lamp posts. I agree with Annalee in that I don’t think the two middle photos are quite successful. Nothing really seems to be out of focus or blurred.
