Hi! So your shallow DOF photos that I found the strongest were the first and third ones. The green one is very intriguing and I like how you used light and contrast in the B&W one. The second one is just a bit too simple and straightforward. The background kind of takes away from the photo so maybe give more attention to the entire image versus just the subject. For your out of focus photos, I really enjoy how you took advantage of the string lights at night time! I prefer your second one over your first one. They're both pretty to look at but the second one is more intriguing.
Hey Bryce, nice images this week! I really like your first out of focus image. I think that lights when out of focus at night, make for really appealing photos. I like the idea you had for the palm trees, but definitely think you can do a little more with the subject in some way or another. I think the alternating lines in your third image makes the image rather interesting and makes the viewer question what it is we are looking at. The same goes for your first image. I almost find this image to be abstract due to the fact that I have no idea what I am looking at. For the same reason, this image is successful, but also may be of greater value to other assignments. I think you have some great photos to work with and some really good ideas.. Looking forward to seeing what you produce for the final. Good Luck!
