  1. I really like these images because each image portrays some kind of feeling or mood. and eludes to a deeper meaning. I think your first image is very well balanced and I love the effect the reflection gives. I think your second portrait might have too many conflicting lines and textures, so maybe you could simplify it a little bit in that manor. I do, however, like the high contrast that you've created in this photo and and others. Great job!

  2. I think you have a great set of photos here. I especially like the simplicity of the second one and how the subject is not in the center of the photo. My only suggestion would be that the last photo doesn’t really fit the style you’ve got going on. I like the idea of showing your lip glosses but maybe you want to step back and get more than just them into the photo.

  3. I agree with Quinn, I think you are capturing a really interesting mood here. I get a sense of solitude and loneliness from your photos, almost like you're capturing people in depressive episodes-- the messy room, the people contemplating life from a window, being glued to a phone, all reminds me of what it's like to experience a depressive episode. I think it's really intriguing and I love your choice of B&W. Your last photo kind of threw me off though. I don't think it goes with the rest of the set. Maybe you can revisit the idea of capturing messy spaces, maybe a messy bed or an unorganized closet? just an idea.

  5. Hi Annalee. Great Start! Pull back on the contrast and approach the processing with a bit more delicacy. Replace the last two photos, as those are not nearly as strong as the the others. Also with your self portrait and the screen pull back and show us a lot more negative space. It will be much more impactful. Good Luck!
