Quinn: Time & Movement WIP

  1. Quinn, your most successful photo to me is your first photo. It something about the subject matter that makes it unique and different. Other than the fire I cannot really make out what it is, which I believe is a good thing. I think you would benefit from not having your subject (the horse) cut out in your fourth photo. I also think you could benefit maybe taking more time to edit your third photo. I think it may be difficult though considering there is not many colors and little to no light present in the photo.

  2. I completely agree with Bryce about your first photo. It is really good chosen subject and good quality photo. My idea for this assignment was as well to try taking photos of fire, but I wasn't sure is it possible, because of a lot of light from flame. But you did it and very successfully. Third photo very interesting with good concept and technical. Photos with hors and dog have good idea, but as professor told it is dificult to fulfill. Great job, knowing that this assignment wasn't so easy.

  3. Hi Quinn. Your first image is the most successful and it uses the shutter speed and movement to create an interesting photo. While I don't mind the plate being washed, that image is missing something, perhaps a better sense of light. The same thing is happening with the clock. It's interesting but only until we figure out that it's a clock, then we move on. Your last two are a bit standard for me, although technically they are done very well. I'd like to see them be more visually interesting. Good Luck with round two!
