I really enjoyed looking at your abstract and light images. I think they have a nice combination of light and color. The only thing I would say is try straightening out the second and fourth images so they are even with the photograph. I would also crop the last image so you can't see the ceiling, but besides that solid images.
Hi Pat. Not a bad start. I think you need to spend some time with these images in LR to see what you tease out of them. Most of a good foundation, but the visual info needs to be strengthened through good edits. I would replace the first and fourth image with new works, as they aren't strong enough, although I do understand why you took them. Continue to photograph and look for a stronger sense of light and shadow, which will occur earlier and later in the day. Good Luck!
Hey Pat. I like some of the angles you were able to find with the siding of the building. I agree with Andy and believe a stronger use of shadows and lighting would make these images stand out a lot more. I know natural light can be hard to come by during the winter season, if you can find more light, it can be manipulated in Lightroom to really take your images to the next level. Additionally, since most of your images are from a distance, it would be good to see some abstract shots of objects up close. Great start!
