  1. I really enjoyed how you darkened the dark values in the first photograph. It really allows for the light to take focus and it highlights the reflections of the glass which made the image super dynamic. For the second edit, I like how it really has a contrast although I think it might be interesting to see the image with more variety of tones. Overall really nice work!

  2. I really liked your edits for the four set of pictures. I think the second edit, the one with the darker tone and more shadows gives the image more contrast and makes the lights look sharper. My suggestions would be for the first set and the last set. I can tell you edited the photos a little, but maybe if you were more dramatic with the edits they would come out more different from the original photo.

  3. Hi Emily. I think you are too far away from most of your subjects. Use the viewfinder to your advantage and carefully frame your subjects considering composition and balance. I think your edits are some of the best I've seen, but in some cases still a bit not aggressive enough. I do very much appreciate your willingness to head outside at night and I would encourage you to continue that approach. However stay away from words in your images. Words will always dominate the image, always! Good Luck!
