  1. As a series, I really enjoyed your first two photographs. On their own, I definitely prefer the second over the first because it appears more crisp, but taken as a pair, I love that I barely noticed the person in the first shot and the second makes it obvious they were there the whole time. It’s like a little wake up call through the two photos. I also like your second photo in the second exercise, but I wish it was a bit crisper. It feels like maybe one or two berries are in focus and everything else is just a little blurry. The final photo series I wouldn’t necessarily classify as great, though I do enjoy the second photo above the others and the overall contrast, but what is really intriguing is the subject matter, specifically the text. It’s really eye catching and clearly relevant. It makes me want to know more!

    2. Thank you for your detailed feedback! I did notice that the first photo came off somewhat blurry. Next time, I'll try to make it focus better. And as for the the jar, it is actually from a short film that I made for a film class last semester. Here is the link if you are interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qBZ3keKTVew

  2. I really like your photographs. They taken the same like I understand. First one series have a sense of approach. Second series is also very good. Looking down photos: I really like the place where you took pictures just maybe would be interesting to see how looks white flours closer. Perfect photos from lucking up series feeling like you are standing even on photos. Crawling as well makes feeling like you looking under. And the last one is intriguing and catching because of subject. Really good job, I like it!

    1. Thank you, Meile! I appreciate what you wrote. And like I was telling Annalee, the subject in the last photos is from a short film I had to do for film class last semester. You can see it here if you want: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qBZ3keKTVew

  3. I really enjoy the "looking down" pictures. I find the second one to be a little more compositionally interesting. I like the angle a little more than the first and how the shot doesn't just look straight down. As you look down the stairwell it gets darker and I appreciate how that gives the picture more drama. I would definitely look to this picture for its interesting composition when continuing to make more images!
