  1. I really like the images you chose for this week! My favorite image has to be the light bulb. I would have loved to seen the background even more dark, to allow for even greater depth with the singular object. I think that building also offers some great lighting at night. I think it would be great to see a few different angles to really capture the lights effect on the building at night. I think shadows are really helpful in this assignment, and taking them into light room and deepening them will really make your work standout.

  2. I have to start by saying that I love the edits you chose for the first photo. I'm glad you chose not to change it to black and white because the colors are beautiful. I think for the other photos that you might want to try more drastic edits because the before and after versions were very similar. For example, in the third one you could try and pull more details from the asphalt by playing with some of the sliders.

  3. Hi Annalee. Get closer! In most cases the light as subject is either too small in the frame or too far away for you to actually make an interesting image. Try to photograph in early morning or late afternoon when the light is extremely active. I do like how you are are looking up and down and in most cases your edits have made the images stronger. Keep things simple and try not to overcomplicate the photographic frame. Good Luck!
