Good is not the same as
Important: This building is a museum dedicated to artist Paul Klee. It stood out to me as important because it is a signifiant building.
Useful: This photo is of several ancient rock carvings. When I took this photo, I was not thinking of the aesthetics or photography style but instead, to remember the carvings themselves.
Interesting: This is a picture of a public train in Switzerland. It is one of my favorite photos not only because I like the scenery but also because I am fascinated by public transportation and how people navigate environments.
Liking: This photo is of my dog Minnie. I had to use a picture of my puppy for the "liking" prompt because I absolutely love her.
I love the subject matter in these photos and I find them to be interesting and captivating. However, when it comes to the actual photo they seem to be a a little flat. As expressed in the blog, the photos were taken more for the subject matter rather than on the aesthetics of the shot. So perhaps if aspects like the composition and lighting were adjusted the photo itself would improve.
ReplyDeleteThe actual photo's themselves were not necessarily "good" photos as they were taken for subject matter rather than actual photography itself. I do find your important photo to be visually mesmerizing because of the construction of the building itself.
ReplyDeleteThe picture of Minnie works well with the purpose of the assignment. Though it may not be the best of photos, the picture shows what you like and what's special to you.
